Stewardship Saturday with FOLAR & CRLC

Join CRLC on August 12th at 9am to noon as we partner with Friends of the Lower Appomattox River (FOLAR) for Stewardship Saturday! Volunteers will help clean-up invasive plants and trash at CRLC’s recently protected property — a soon-to-be public park — along the Appomattox River in Chesterfield!

Help us free trees, protect our native plants and local wildlife, and restore riparian buffers (riverside land)! Volunteers will remove invasive plants such as “Tree of Heaven” (Ailanthus), Wisteria, or English Ivy. No experience necessary! Gloves and tools will be provided.
