Volunteer Tree Count at Varina LandLab

CRLC is restoring a riparian (river-side) habitat buffer and we need your help! Last year we planted trees along the James River at and tributary streams at Varina LandLab. We need to help of volunteers to count the trees that survived in these areas to prepare for round two of tree planting. Volunteers will also remove some Japanese Hops and Japanese Stiltgrass in these area to make room for more trees. This event will be held on Tuesday, September 12th from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Entrance #3.
