Volunteer Planting Project at Varina LandLab Conservation Area

Help CRLC’s Land Stewardship Manager, Ashley Moulton, improve the landscape and native plant habitat of the Varina LandLab Conservation Area in eastern Henrico County, just off historic Route 5 and the Capital Trail.
Qualifications, Skills, & Requirements:
This is an active task where volunteers will plant seedlings at meadow, river shoreline and overlook, plus pull invasive species.
Gardening experience is helpful but not necessary. Training and tools will be provided.
Volunteers are recommended to wear long sleeves, pants, closed-toed shoes plus sun protection. Snacks and water will be provided, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own.
