Historic Roseneath: Family land protected forever

In 2012, Helen and Francis Graham made the generous decision to donate a conservation easement on 337 acres of their property in Powhatan County to the Capital Region Land Conservancy and the Virginia Outdoors Foundation. It was important especially to Helen that they protect the beautiful landscape from future development for generations to come. The Civil War era home called Roseneath has been owned by Helen’s family for close to 100 years. The property boasts rolling hills, dense forests, and open fields, as well as generations of family history.
