Visit CRLC at the James River Association’s Eco Fest
Capital Region Land Conservancy will take part in the second annual Eco Fest presented by the James River Association on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the James A. Buzzard River Education Center at Dock Street Park along the beautiful James River. Make plans to stop by and visit our booth along with a range of environmental organizations from across the region at this FREE family-friendly event!
- Tree Giveaways: Take home a free tree and help us green our community.
- Free Paddle Tours: Explore the beauty of the James River up close with our guided paddle tours.
- Rain Barrel Workshop & Raffle: Learn how to collect and use rainwater efficiently at our workshop. Plus, enter our raffle for a chance to win a rain barrel to start your own water-saving journey!
- Educational Booths: Discover more about the James River Watershed, local flora and fauna, and sustainable living practices. Our interactive booths and staff will provide valuable insights and practical tips. Plus, visit with other local environmental leaders in our community.
- Family Fun Activities: Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities designed to entertain and educate all ages about environmental stewardship, with delicious offerings from local food trucks.
Limited parking is available at Great Shiplock Park, which is located next to the Education Center/event location, or park at Stone Brewing Taproom located at 4300 Williamsburg Ave, Richmond, VA 23231 and take the free shuttle to the event.
