Hammers & Ales

Join Capital Region Land Conservancy staff and volunteers at Richmond ToolBank’s annual Hammers & Ales event on June 11th at Brown’s Island! We will be tabling at this event to share about our work conserving land across the region, including adding acreage to the James River Park System and protecting land for new parks in Richmond’s Southside.
Hammers & Ales is a community celebration of Richmond’s parks, public places, and the people that make them thrive. Rally your team on the beautiful riverfront green of Brown’s Island to help build new park benches, picnic tables, and trash huts for our amazing James River Park System.
Throughout the day enjoy live music on two stages, games & educational activities, outreach with local environmental organizations and of course, amazing beer from Väsen Brewing.
