Varina LandLab Grand Opening

Welcome to the Varina LandLab Conservation Area! Join Capital Region Land Conservancy for the grand opening of this new environmental outreach-focused conservation area in eastern Henrico County on Saturday, June 3rd, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.. There’s no better way to celebrate National Trails Day than with the opening of over 4 miles of new trails and 350+ acres for public park access!
- Celebration and ribbon cutting at 12:00 p.m.
- Free guided Nature Hike & History Hikes at 1:00 p.m.
This 350-acre conservation area on the James River is dedicated for hiking, birding, environmental education, and wildlife habitat protection.

You can join us at Entrance #3 (9200 Deep Bottom Road, Henrico VA 23231) for the opening ceremony. Additional parking is available at Entrance #2 (9051 Deep Bottom Rd, Henrico, VA 23231) and Deep Bottom Park (9525 Deep Bottom Rd, Henrico, VA 23231).
