Volunteer with CRLC! Clean the Bay Day 2026

CRLC is excited to partner once again with the Chesapeake Bay Foundation on their annual Clean the Bay Day event happening Saturday, May 2 from 9:00am – 12:00pm. For more than 30 years, CBF has inspired Virginians to help keep our waterways healthy through this important community volunteer initiative. Across the Commonwealth, citizens come together to collect trash and debris that would otherwise pollute our streams, rivers, beaches, and inland parks of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

This year, Capital Region Land Conservancy’s clean-up project will focus on conserved property in South Richmond near Goode Creek and Broad Rock Creek.
Register to help CRLC improve this property by volunteering to collect trash and pull invasive species. Tools will be provided but volunteers are always encouraged to bring their own preferred tools.
