Henrico Master Gardener Pollinator Fest & Plant Sale

CRLC is excited to take part in this year’s Pollinator Festival & Plant Sale presented by the Henrico Master Gardeners on Saturday, May 30 from 9:00am – 1:00pm.
Attendees can enjoy the well-loved plant sale plus educational displays, information and demonstrations from environmental organizations and state and local government agencies, displays, a photo booth, a plant clinic led by Master Gardeners and children’s activities coordinated by Junior Master Gardeners. The event also will feature a demonstration of vermiculture – the cultivation and use of earthworms to enhance composting – and will offer a sharpening service for tools and knives. There will also be live music and concessions available for purchase from food trucks.

Henrico Master Gardeners are volunteers who act on behalf of the Henrico County Extension Office as educators in the community. They receive specialized training in environmental horticulture through Virginia Cooperative Extension.
