Team Forests Webinar: Forestry Fundamentals

Virginia’s urban and rural forests provide ecosystem services from carbon capture, to heat reduction, to absorbing heavy rainfall – but most people do not know how forest management works and why it is so important. This virtual educational program with guest speakers Christine Cadigan, Senior Director of the Family Forest Carbon Program at the American Forest Foundation, and Terrance Lasher, Assistant State Forester with the Virginia Department of Forestry helped grow our knowledge of how forestry enhances the ecosystem services which we depend on no matter where we live!
